Having trained as a perfectionist dancer under the wings of Shiamak Davar and Terrence Lewis, Silver Malani has made an appearance for a song sequence in his dad’s Bollywood film ‘Janleva 555’.

The song, Dil Badla Badla Sa Aaj Hai has the entire main starcast dancing as a fun travel song. And Silver pops in with his popping and locking appearance. Self-choreographed for his own performance, Silver had learnt the locking and popping from the dancing star Prince, who was a part of the reality show –Dance India Dance, Season I.

Besides making an appearance as a crew member on screen, Silver has handled the camera off screen taking care of the Making of the Film. Now all of 15 yrs old, earlier in his career at the age of 9, Silver made his debute as a child artist as the young Diganth, in the Kanglish film SMS 6260 wherein he had to sing, dance and also act for a few scenes. He had rendered a Kannada poem as a part of the song for the film, which was a glorious song for the occasion of Suvarna Karnataka that was included in the film. While SMS 6260 was directed by his dad, he also appeared in a small role in a Konkani film Kazaar.

Janleva 555 stars Anant Nag, Kalpana Pandit, Akash Hora, Cliff Janke, Abrar Zahoor, Mann Hora, Shona Chabra, Anant Joshi and Ranjeet Jha. The film has 13 songs of which 5 songs are composed by Dev Chauhan and choreographed by Longinus Fernandes. Made under the banner of House of Pandit for producer Kalpana Pandit, the film is scripted and directed by Sandeep Malani.

Cliff Janke does his Moves n Shakes too!

When you watch a Bollywood film and a bald English man in it, the actor that comes first to your mind is Bob Christo. We have seen him in umpteen number of films playing a small time baddie for a scene or two. And besides him, there have been some other actors who did some insignificant roles here and there for a scene or two, which one does not even remember. But wait, until we get to see Cliff Janke making his debut with an impact in Janleva 555, the Bollywood film that is all set for release soon.
An American, Cliff Janke, a doctor by profession has found his foothold on a creative talent – entertainment. And in his very first film he has got to portray his talents to maximum. He plays Steve, a film-maker in the film. And he gets to sing, dance and fight too.
While most of the English men are made to speak Hindi on purpose, in Janleva 555 – Cliff speaks his language – American English and not a single word of Hindi, thus making his character very real. Cliff has got the opportunity to dub for himself in the film, and that makes it very natural to have his own voice from real to that in reel.
Being a part of three songs and dance, Cliff has done his moves and shakes by doing a English rap and also sung a popular English song from a Hindi film. And he says, one will be surprised to see it on, when the film hits the screens soon.
And before you guessed that he would be a one film wonder, Cliff has surprised by being a part of a bilingual film as well. Tum Ho Yaara in Hindi and Pani Thuli in Tamil.
Being made under the banner of House of Pandit and produced by Kalpana Pandit, Janleva 555 is scripted and directed by Sandeep Malani.

Janleva 555 is a Mishmash of Genres

Word has gone out in the industry that Jaanleva 555 is a horror flick. However, the makers of the film beg to differ. According to them, this upcoming venture is a romantic musical thriller with slight horror elements.
While mentioning that this film is a blend of great music, mystery and romance, Kalpana Pandit asserted, “Its not in the ‘horror’ genre! There are definitely a couple of really scary moments, but I wouldn’t classify it in the horror category! Its a love story spanning generations….for all the other elements I would love for the audience to come and enjoy it on the magnificent silver screen from Oct 19th onwards.”

Janleva 555', blend of music, mystery
